Volunteer

Volunteering at the Licking County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center provides socialization for the dogs and offers help to worthwhile causes and the community while benefiting the volunteer. There are many ways to help. Our goal is to reacquaint lost dogs to their owners. If no owner can be found, adoptable dogs are offered to the public for forever homes. Volunteers assist staff in providing compassionate care for our shelter dogs during their stay with us. We could not provide such outstanding care without the assistance of a dedicated volunteer force. Thank you for wanting to help our dogs!

* Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
