Q: At what age does my dog have to be licensed?

A: Per Ohio Law, any dog 3 months of age or older must be licensed.

Q: Why do I need to have a dog license?

A: Dog Licenses are required by State law and failure to have one can result in criminal charges

Q: Do you take cats?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot take cats.

Q: Who do I call about cats?

A: We encourage you to look at cat rescues in your area.

Q: Do you take owner surrenders?

A: No, we do not take owner surrenders. You can reach out to the Licking County Humane Society and be placed on a waiting list. Also Wyandotte Humane Society in Upper Sandusky takes owner surrenders.

Q: Where do I Purchase/Renew my Dangerous Dog License?

A: In Person at the Licking County Dog Warden's Office.
