Q: What age does my dog have to be licensed?
A: All dogs have to be licensed at 3 months of age per Ohio Law.
Q: Why do I need to have a dog license?
A: Dog Licenses are required by stated law and failure to have one can result in criminal charge. Dog licenses allow for your dog to get a ride home.
Q: If I live in the country, why do I have to have a dog license?
A: Everyone has to have a dog license no matter where you live. It is a state law.
Q: Do you take cats?
A: No we do not take cats and only allowed to handle stray dogs by state law.
Q: Who do I call about cats?
A: Unfortunately there is not a whole lot out there when it comes to resources for stray cats. We encourage you to look at cat rescues.
Q: Do you take owner surrenders?
A: No we do not take owner surrenders. You can reach out to the Licking County Humane Society and be placed on a waiting list. Also Wyandotte Humane Society in Upper Sandusky takes all owner surrenders.
