​MISSION STATEMENT

 

The mission of The Office of The Licking County Dog Warden is for the enforcement division to equitably enforce Chapter 955 of the Ohio Revised Code to ensure that the residents of Licking County are protected from injury and damages caused by dogs and the shelter division to provide compassionate care for impounded dogs in the Licking County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center while reuniting lost dogs with their families and re-homing unclaimed adoptable dogs.
